I was so eager in getting this case when I saw on amazon for about half price. When I received the item, it was disappointing that I received a Blackberry version instead of the iphone 3g one that I ordered.

‘Cause ya know: dose tings fall to da ground right often. Sumtimes widdout no warnin at all. An yours is such a pristine an bootiful egsample of da iPhone dat maybe youse should tink about…protectin it. Now i’m not sayin dat sometin is GONNA happen to it: jus’ dat sumtin MIGHT happen…axe-i-dental like, see? Fallin out da pocket…slippin from da hand…tossin it to yer buddah-finga’d buddy. Stuff happens. Oh, geez: I’m sorry about yer glass, dere, buddy! I’m so clumsy dese days!

Now DIS ting, dis OtterBox: it’s da BOMB, man! See, youse puts it in da cradle BACKwards, so’s da face don’t get all scratched by da pointy corners and junk in da offices. After a few brews, ya know, them straight lines like to play around. And wid dis rubberized outer layer wid a hard plastic shell? I’m tellin ya- an youse can believe me- dat dis ting will protect yer bootiful iPhone from a nice fall. Maybe even a kick or two. i’m jes sayin. No need to git upset! I’m just tellin youse what wut COULD happen. Hey: I’ve had it happen to mine more dan a few times, I can tell ya! An dis OtterBox case: dis ting just took it wid a big smile. Course, now I can’t sleep at night wit dis ting near da bed. I’m a bit worried ’bout it…gettin back at me, like. Udderwise, I can’t say enuff good tings ’bout it, know wut i’m sayin?

So get one fer youses iPhone. Ya jest never know…and oh…I’m sorry again ! i didn’t see dat nise vase youse had sittin on the pedestal in fronta me! I really AM so clumsy dese days!

the rubber case is fine, but the screen protector is a complete waste. i got so frustrated with the air bubbles (and yes, i cleaned everything thoroughly before attempting installation) that i just threw the screen protector out. very poor engineering on their part. would not purchase again.

The case itself fits fine, and the iphone is certainly quite usable with the case on. I’m not doing any drop testing, but like some others I’m sceptical about the claims of impact protection.

I had a big problem with the clear screen protector — it had little paper stickers on both sides (at the edge), that were to be pulled off before & after application. EXCEPT … they were paper, and used cheap glue that didn’t allow a clean peel-off, so the screen protector was basically useless. (Why is it that products made in China seem to only use cheap glue?) So that freebie ain’t so great.

If I were to do it over, I’d probably go to a nearby discount store and get a cheapo silicone case for a couple of bucks less. But this does the job I wanted done, so I’m keeping it.

I responded to the packaging area on the website. I included a picture of the broken piece and I have not heard anything from Amazon. I have been a customer for years and this truly the first bad deal I have received. The case is fine and works, but the belt clip was cracked and I have tried to crazy glue it to work. I would like a little customer service on this item. Thanks, Sgt. Mark Middleton
